The culvert will be installed this week, along with the road-base driveway. This should improve the curb appeal. The sink holes in the back yard will be filled and the ground graded.
The culvert was installed and the dirt pushed back in filling up some of the ditch. The road base was then delivered and spread out over the driveway. We now have a driveway that we should not sink into. The rebound that we had hauled out of the dome was a good base but still did not cut it when it rained. Of coarse I should mention that the rebound drive was disturbed (dug up) a couple of times for power and phone lines which caused more dirt than rebound on the surface. Those areas then became the mud pits.
Our future plans include a circle driveway and pretty landscaping. That will come in time. We are leaning towards putting in the circle driveway soon because the ditch is dug out nicely now and may fall in a bit and have to be re-dug for another culvert. So many projects so little time.
