In October 2007 we had JCA Construction come back out to do our slab for our dome. Because you can only do your foundation once we had extra pie shaped 1’ by 2’ support beams dug through the center of the foundation joining the ring beam. We put down a vapor barrier and had the rebar added. We also had the porches tied into the house slab. We triple checked to make sure all the plumbing and conduit were in the right places. The concrete was poured and a brick ledge formed around the ring beam. The concrete crew made sure the slab was nice and smooth for our future staining of the concrete.
