The first step for us was finding the right lot. We started searching in the winter of 2006. We purchased our lot in the spring of 2007. While looking for our land we worked on our floor plan, did a feasibility study with Monolithic and built our first practice dome.        We cut out scaled down beds, couches, tables and the likes to make sure all of our stuff would fit into our new dome home. After we were happy with the floor plan, Linda Ware from Monolithic drew up our plans. We had to make a few minor changes to line up plumbing between floors. At that time we also had to figure out where we wanted all the switches and outlets. When we figured all of that out, Linda drew up our final plans.
