Jim started to build the front porch. He is still trying to decide the best way to make the roof join to the dome and look good. We are letting it rest for now to think through how we want it to turn out. The columns are aluminum and will need a coat of fresh paint because they are recycled from an older home being torn down. I only paid $50.00 each for them. New columns cost around $200 each. Plus you have to buy the base and top piece. We have two more for the Master bedroom porch and a slightly bent one for spare at no charge.
