When the dome was foamed and the rebar hangers installed we started to rebar in the 8 foot stem wall. The weather turned cold and wet causing a lot of mud. Trucks, trailer and boom lifts do not do well in the sandy mud that we have. We stayed inside and did more rebar just leaving small pieces overlapping the window locations to bend around later after the foam was done (bad idea #2).
By the time that the ground dried out enough for driving on, Jim was sent away for work for 2 weeks. While Jim was gone our friend Bill Gunther and I hung rebar.
