We had planned on using our set of bunk beds in Samuel's room. The curving of the dome caused them not to fit. We found him this shorter loft bed on Craigslist and are able to have an extra mattress underneath for when we have friends spend the night. It can be pulled out easily for more headroom. I made him another comforter to match his the best I could out of left over fabric, the bed skirt he does not need, and a sheet. He also planned out a dog bed and pillow which I was the lucky one to sew. I bet you can guess......the dog does not use it!
